"Yorozu Drawstring Bag"
This leather drawstring bag is inspired by the "ashimusubi" (foot binding) technique used to facilitate movement when wearing ancient Japanese hakama (traditional Japanese formal attire). It features a hand-held design. A side zippered opening allows access to the contents while keeping the main opening secure. The interior features a zippered pocket parallel to the opening. It has a 14cm round bottom. The main body is made from yorozu's original waterproof leather. It has a matte finish and is supple and comfortable against the skin. Crafted in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, the leather is tanned with Scotchgard for water-repellent properties throughout the fibers. From a sustainable perspective, the leather is tanned using a blend of chrome and vegetable tanning techniques to ensure long-lasting use. The interior is inlaid with patterns symbolizing Japanese history. It is made from Futago Chirimen, a traditional Japanese crepe weave, featuring S-twist and Z-twist weft threads woven every other thread, creating a three-dimensional texture.
