Starting from artist Shusaku Takaoka’s collage works,we are trying to “rediscover” new forms in our daily lives.Faded fabrics, old illustrations, fragments of memories.These materials, reconstructed by Takaoka’s hands,are translated by us into clothing products.Each piece is tailored to breathe within everyday life.THE FOUND. is a brand that stands between past and present, art and daily life,and continues the act of “finding” as clothing.

This is one of Shusaku Takaoka's representative works and the origin of THE FOUND.The graphic, based on a classical painting and overlaid with a figure showing the whites of their eyes and raising their middle finger,is one of the visuals that symbolizes Takaoka's collage work.Elegant tranquility and a provocative attitude.By combining these conflicting elements,it creates a sense of discomfort and strength characteristic of THE FOUND.The original body uses a cotton fabric with moderate thickness.It offers both a pleasant texture and a reassuring opacity.The BLACK color is a reddish faded black,similar to what is seen in vintage T-shirts.This slightly faded shade, not too dark,blends well with the atmosphere of the graphic, allowing you to enjoy a worn-in look even when new.
