Starting from the collage works of artist Shusaku Takaoka,we are attempting to "rediscover" the everyday in a new way.Faded fabrics, old illustrations, fragments of memory.We translate these materials, reconfigured by Takaoka's hand,into products called clothes.Each piece is tailored to breathe in everyday life.THE FOUND.is a brand that stands between past and present, art and everyday life,continuing the act of "finding" through clothing.

"NOT YOUR LADY S/S TEE-WHITE-"
This beauty isn't meant to conform to someone else's gaze.A collage of a girl rolling her eyes and giving the middle finger,layered over a refined portrait.The words "NOT YOUR LADY" placed above her head,while resembling a crown,also function as a strong message of rejection.An attitude that throws back, "I'm not your lady,"to someone who might approach.This piece reconstructs the discomfort of being expected to be cute or refinedinto a graphic that is distinctly THE FOUND."OWN YOUR NOISE" layered over her eyes is a phrase to acceptone's own discomfort and impulses, rather than fitting into others' ideals.As "NO APOLOGY" suggests, it embodies the strength to be oneself,without fawning or apologizing.The original body uses moderately thick cotton fabric.It offers both a pleasant feel against the skin and reliable opacity.The fabric blends well with the graphic's atmosphere,allowing you to enjoy a look that appears worn-in from the start, even when new.
