The designer believes that the origin of clothing dates back to when Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (the forbidden fruit) in the Old Testament. To ensure he never forgets his initial passion for clothing and manufacturing, the brand uses an "apple" as its icon.
