superNova.'s brand concept is “expressing the times, events, and things one feels in everyday life through the filter of fashion.”
The brand sees the origin of clothing as the moment Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil (the forbidden fruit) in the Old Testament. The designer uses an “apple” as the brand icon in the hope of never losing their original passion for clothing and craftsmanship.

"SUBU x superNova. - Velvet Jacquard / Brown paisley
A collaborative sandal by “SUBU” and “superNova.”, who offer an unprecedented autumn/winter sandal that can be worn barefoot when heading out on a whim in cold weather. The Velvet Jacquard material has been upgraded to be even more beautiful and refined.
The jacquard fabric, woven in the Bishu region, is made with generous amounts of rayon mohair yarn, crafted to achieve the depth and refined texture of velvet.
Its soft pile creates a rich appearance and beautiful sheen. It wraps bare feet in down-like warmth, while the brushed inner fabric and four-layer insole provide an excellent fit around the entire foot for a gentle, comfortable feel.
