ARMY TWILL was founded in the United States in the 1940s.
At a time when military wear was beginning to become popular as fashion, it started as a pioneering store brand. Over time, the brand ceased to exist, and today it is a rare vintage item that is hard to find even in the vintage market.
In 2020, MULBERRY Co.,Ltd. launched "ARMY TWILL SANFORIZED" as a reproduction label that adds a modern interpretation to past universal concepts.
Inspired by the designs and details of various vintage clothing from the United States and European countries, the brand elevates them into contemporary pieces with original fabrics and unique silhouettes. It develops new collections that blend heritage and modernity, aiming to be the vintage of the future.

"Big Half Sleeve Shirt"
This shirt reinterprets the details reminiscent of vintage American military shirts into a modern silhouette.
Based on oversized vintage pieces, the careful patterning creates a balanced item that can be worn with a dressy feel, almost like a jacket. The material used is a plain weave fabric with a slubby and neppy texture that evokes a vintage feel.
It's a cotton and linen blend, and the crisp texture unique to linen makes it comfortable to wear even in summer.
