ARMY TWILL
ARMY TWILL was born in the United States in the 1940s.
It started as a pioneering store brand when military wear first started to become popular as a fashion item. The brand was discontinued over time, and now it is a rare vintage item that is hard to find even in the vintage market.
In 2020, MULBERRY Co., Ltd. launched "ARMY TWILL SANFORIZED" as a reproduction label that adds a modern interpretation to universal concepts of the past.
Taking inspiration from the designs and details of various vintage clothing from America and Europe, the brand elevates them to a modern era with original fabrics and unique silhouettes. By fusing heritage and modernity, the brand is developing a new collection that aims to be the vintage of the future.

"Back Jersey Tee"
The material used is 14/- open-end yarn.
We have emphasized the natural slubby feel of the yarn more than usual to knit it into a fabric with a textured surface.
The stitching is done using a seam machine, which is used for vintage military innerwear, to create flat seams.
Although it has a simple T-shirt shape, the scattered vintage details give it a unique presence, making it a new standard ARMY TWILL Tee.
