ARMY TWILL was born in the United States in the 1940s.
It started as a pioneering store brand when military wear first started to become popular as a fashion item. The brand was discontinued over time, and now it is a rare vintage item that is hard to find even in the vintage market.
In 2020, MULBERRY Co., Ltd. launched "ARMY TWILL SANFORIZED" as a reproduction label that adds a modern interpretation to universal concepts of the past.
Taking inspiration from the designs and details of various vintage clothing from America and Europe, the brand elevates them to a modern era with original fabrics and unique silhouettes. By fusing heritage and modernity, the brand is developing a new collection that aims to be the vintage of the future.

"C/Li Slab Big H/S Shirt"
This shirt has been reconstructed with details reminiscent of American military shirts from the 90s into a modern silhouette. It is based on a vintage shirt equivalent to a 10XL, but the patterning balances it out, giving it a somewhat dressy impression. The material is a plain weave fabric with a slubby and napped feel that gives it a vintage feel. It is made of cotton and linen, and the crisp feel of the linen makes it comfortable to wear even in the summer.
