THE PORK PIE, a brand specializing in PORK PIE HATS.
We only produce pork pie hats, using natural materials with rich and unique characteristics.
A pork pie hat is one type of hat. The name comes from the hat's shape when viewed from above, which resembles the traditional British dish "pork pie."
The brand is particular about having a not-too-tall crown (10cm) and a deeply set groove on the top part, so they commissioned a custom wooden mold to create warm hats, each handcrafted one by one.
We strive to produce simple and minimalist hats, avoiding the use of excessive decorations such as ribbons.
The unpretentious shape makes it easy to incorporate into a wide range of styles, and we confidently recommend it as a first hat for those who have never tried one before.
To compensate for the minimal use of decorations, all hats are equipped with elastic loops, allowing them to be customized with bandanas, scarves, tenugui, etc. The freedom to combine them in various ways, with different colors and patterns, creates a wide range of expressions, which is one of its charms.

"Pork Pie Hat (Raffia)" Fringe Brim
This is a pork pie hat made from the natural material "raffia."
The crown is 10cm, neither too high nor too low. Unlike hats where the brim is usually folded and sewn with a machine, this hat features a fringed brim that is not folded. The fringe serves as an accent, allowing for a unique styling when added to simple summer outfits.

The inside of the hat features an elastic cord for size adjustment. Additionally, it has elastic loops for customizing with bandanas or scarves. You are free to combine them with bandanas, scarves, tenugui, etc.
