Sanders
Sanders & Sanders Ltd. was founded in 1873 by brothers William and Thomas Sanders in the shoe mecca of Northampton and Rushden. Initially, it was started with only five craftsmen, but with the development of the Goodyear manufacturing method and a contract to supply military boots to the British army in the 1910s, it has expanded greatly, and has continued to be family-managed for five generations to this day. It is known as a long-established shoe manufacturer that has clients all over the world.

“Military Derby Shoes”
Best-selling model of MILITARY COLLECTION.
Using a three-needle sewing machine, which is now rare, the distinctive three stitch lines, also known as Puritan stitch, are applied to the toe cap and feathers. It is permitted to display the unique British crown mark on the heel.
DERBY is a general term for shoes with a feather design that covers the instep. Another advantage is that the wings open wide, making it easy to put on and take off.
The upper is made of polished leather. It has a glossy feel, is resistant to scratches and dirt, and is relatively resistant to rain. After brushing, use a soft cloth dampened with a small amount of water to maintain the shine. Since they are easy to care for, they are also recommended for those wearing leather shoes for the first time.
A khaki colored spare string is included.
